Maintain the accuracy of inventory by receiving storing and distributing incoming material.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Receive items from outside sources and confirm the parts match the description from the original purchase order.
- Verify counts for items received.
- Receive items into Prophet 21 Inventory System.
- Look up the Item Bin Location in the system and put items in their proper bin location.
- Bring Packing Lists to Accounts Payable at the end of each day.
- Resolve count discrepancies, correct discrepancies and maintain log of the discrepancies.
- Shelve inventory.
- Maintain the organization of stock shelves.
- Process customer returns.
- Assist with cycle count discrepancy resolution.
- Support inventory improvements.
- Load outbound shipments as needed.
- Learn and apply Lean tools and initiatives.
- Able to work OT occasionally, sometimes mandatory
- Support Order Picking and Order Packing as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School degree required.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Bi-lingual a plus.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
