Performs accounting functions and provides financial information for nonprofit, professional membership association. Responsibilities include overall recording and maintenance activities concerned with accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and journal entries, cash control management, and monthly bank reconciliations of related funds. Ensure all activities and entries are within generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Responsible for internal reporting and analysis of monthly financial statements; develops and maintains annual budget. Serve as point person to CPA firm for annual audit/review. Maintain records, facilitate employee benefits and manage overall office operations (facility, human resources, vendors).
