Cedar Brook is looking for an exceptional Client Service Associate who will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data in order to prepare and provide technical financial planning and investment management information, usually with other professionals in the firm and under the supervision and guidance of Senior Advisor. The Client Service Associate partners closely with the Senior Advisor to increase and improve existing client relationships and to support the development of new client relationships.
The Client Service Associate will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics when dealing with others and/or performing work activities.
Conduct research and due diligence related to client needs to assist Advisor.
Assist Senior Advisor in understanding and discovering key data points on clients and prospects through meetings, conversations, interviews, and questions around personality, lifestyle, budget needs, college planning, values, relationships, assets, goals, etc.
Making trades and rebalancing client accounts as directed by Senior Advisor.
Provide on-going support to clients on an as-needed basis; answering questions, general correspondence, resolving issues, processing changes and providing updates.
Reconciling, entering, updating data for reports in portfolio management software programs.
Maintain client records and data with accuracy and detail while meeting all regulatory requirements using CRM system.
Coordinate marketing and business development process.
Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary.
Stay abreast of, and coordinate with the advisors on implementation of industry best practices.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
