We’re looking for an eager and excited HR Coordinator to join the growing HR team. The right individual will have a foundational understanding of the HR world, be thorough and organized, and manage the time in their workday expertly and efficiently. The right person will have a positive, professional demeanor and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with our employees. The right person will be ready and willing to be a team player and support the team where needed. This HR Coordinator must be able to communicate effectively and decisively with all levels of the organization while solving practical problems.
Day to Day Tasks:
Leave of Absence Administration. Communicate directly with employees who are needing a leave of absence. Remain compliant with State and Federal laws as it relates to notices provided and paperwork received. Provide timely updates to managers regarding an employees return. Calculate and process any insurance remittance when needed.
Make sure all the I’s are dotted and the T's are crossed. When an employee separates from the company, you will make sure their final pay and separation paperwork is created, processed, and delivered in a timely manner. Cancel any necessary accounts and remove any access to company domains or systems.
Be the keeper of employee information. The team will rely on you to make sure employee files are not only kept up to date but meet compliance requirements as well. If information is needed pertaining to a certain employee, you will be our first call to make. You will also utilize employee records, as well as our HRIS system to respond to any State Disability, Paid Family Leave, or Unemployment inquiry from the state. On occasion, withholding notices may also come across your desk and we will look to you to ensure they are handled swiftly in coordination with Payroll.
Provide unwavering support to the team. Lend support to the rest of the HR team in day-to-day activities as well as special projects. You will be able to experience all the different areas of HR as you work side by side with the rest of the team to tackle initiatives and accomplish projects that allow the different employee populations within Connected to thrive.

Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or a related field preferred.
1-3 years of Human Resources Experience
Administrative Skills to include organization and ability to prioritize
Near perfect communication skills, including both oral and written
