We’re looking for our newest AR Coordinator who is eager and excited to join our growing finance team. The right individual will be organized, detailed oriented, adaptable, collaborative, and thrive in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. This AR Coordinator must be able to accept all customer payments, maintain accounting system for record keeping, prepare weekly reports on current AR balances, prepare monthly statements, and enter data without error, provide audit support and handle other duties as assigned. As an AR Coordinator, this person will be an integral part of the Connected brand as we continue to grow and expand.
Day to Day Tasks:
Customer Payments – Receive cash payments and record these payments into our accounting software.
Data Entry – Maintain multiply accounting systems with accurate data.
Weekly AR Balances – Reports required weekly for all past due and due in next 7 days for Director of Finance.
Monthly Custom Statements – Reach out monthly to customers by providing current statements.
Audit support. Weekly audit of bank statements compared to accounting system.
Demonstrate initiative and responsibility
Remain focused while flexible/adaptable in an ever changing and fluid business environment
Work well independently and alongside a team
Creative thinker especially when problem solving
Exercise discretion when dealing with matters of confidentiality
Strong communication skills when it comes to working with all levels of the organization
How You Qualify:
AA or BS/BA degree, accounting concentration or related coursework preferred
1-3 years of accounting or accounts payable experience
Quickbooks experience preferred
Strong MS Office Suite & Google Sheets Skills
Cannabis accounting experiences a plus
Organized and detail oriented with the ability to work well under deadlines in a changing environment
Results oriented team player with a positive attitude
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong working knowledge of GAAP
