Congruex was formed to take advantage of the tremendous demand for network engineering and construction. Congruex intends to acquire great companies in the engineering and construction industry and combine these companies to create a nationwide capability to perform any of the engineering or construction disciplines on a stand-alone basis, or on an end to end, turn-key basis. Congruex took first steps towards building this platform by closing the acquisitions of CCLD Technologies and CHC Consulting, LLC, two leading telecommunications construction management and engineering firms in late 2017. In late 2018, Congruex acquired White Construction to further expand capabilities.
Seeking technical candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in the telecommunications industry. The Engineering Assistant will be trained on proprietary design systems and databases for telecommunications design operations. Will support Project Management by providing document organization, electronic file and data management, database navigation, and reporting. Paid training provided!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Including, but not limited to:)
- Support the design of fiber networks for underground and/or aerial environments including but not limited to manholes, hand holes, pedestals, and utility poles.
- Combine, convert, and upload images and PDF files into internal and external database systems.
- Maintain client confidentiality and protect operations by using discretion with confidential and sensitive information.
- Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing information from spreadsheets and take initiative to contact other personnel for necessary missing information.
- Monitor and log incoming new work.
- Draft team emails and documents.
- Read, research, and route correspondences.
- Maintain calendar schedule.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior knowledge of AutoCAD or other drafting systems is preferred but not required.
- Office experience in engineering, construction, architecture, or telecommunications industry preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Adobe Acrobat; Ability to learn new systems and databases quickly.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Deadline driven, self-motivated, and technically savvy.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
- Superior time management skills.
- Extremely organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to be flexible, take direction with ease, including changes to schedule and workflow priorities.
