This position consults with the appropriate internal team experts to target and achieve results and prioritizes tasks to overcome obstacles. The PM provides leadership/motivation to drive towards a successful completion of the project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Execute and manage the entire process of the design and supply of forming/shoring products on all project sites of clients. Full accountability for end to end management of projects.
2. Professionally represent Aluma Systems and effectively support company strategic initiatives.
3. Job-start up:
a. Participate with Superintendents, estimators and other project team members in pre-construction efforts.
b. Discuss and define the scope of work, construction sequence and construction schedules.
c. Participate with the Sales Representatives and Branch Manager in the preparation/approval/execution of the Purchase/Rental agreement with the client.
d. Submit engineering requests and set-up jobs with internal team members.
4. Engineering & Design: Manage the engineering process from concept to completion and provide direction on solutions. During design phase, present preliminary designs to clients and communicate revisions to engineering.
5. Take-offs: Prepare and submit material lists/take-offs to Operations team (both preliminary and finals).
6. Site Service & Support:
a. Services current client base, responds to needs and requirements, and provides technical advice.
b. Ensures conformity of our work with the scope in the purchase/rental agreement.
c. Supervise the initial assembly of equipment on projects, as required.
d. Train crews on proper use and assembly of systems as required if client is unfamiliar with the supplied product lines.
e. Manage change orders and scope revisions: Work with Sales team and Branch Manager to price any scope changes and incorporate PO modifications accordingly.
f. Job site closeouts: Educate clients on return procedures and bundling instructions. Walk job at completion and negotiate final invoices for lost and damaged equipment.
7. Reporting & Invoicing:
a. Reviews, monitors and manages project budget, construction costs and other financials.
b. Prepares and uploads contract revenue forecasts to the internal Aluma shared drives.
c. Works with CSRs to invoice clients for rental, sale items, engineering and freight.
d. Forecasts and uploads relevant formwork and shoring system equipment needs to the internal Aluma shared drives.
Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science degree from four-year college or university, preferable in Construction Management or Engineering related degrees; 5 – 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong technical skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other job related software.
