Job Description

The main responsibilities of the role are to lead the local HR operations team to provide excellent service in the following areas:

  • Offer making and contractual process and checks for new employees and associates;
  • Administration of the onboarding process for new hires;
  • Partner with and support our global functions to support hiring and talent development in your location
  • Provide support to resource managers and employees with end to end performance management processes
  • Lead compensation review cycle(s) for location(s)
  • Drive talent retention activities in the location, including being a role model for company culture and a trusted 'go to' colleague with the skills and experience to support others with 'people' related opportunities and issues.
  • Support for internal mobility including visa applications and contractual changes
  • Lead and support the resolution of any employee relations issues
  • Lead and support the exit and offboarding of employees in a variety of situations
  • Administer local benefits and make recommendations for improvements to support employee attraction and retention
  • Devise, implement & administer HR policies, practices, systems and metrics that are locally compliant, globally consistent and in line with the type of organization we want to become, ensuring areas of risk are understood and managed
  • Lead and support People and Culture improvement activities as required.
  • Manage third party providers to ensure great service for managers and employees (e.g. benefits providers, payroll etc)

  • You are a true HR generalist, with a proven experience in the many different responsibilities of the function (including employment law, talent acquisition and development, performance management, workforce planning, diversity and inclusion, well-being, reward, compensation & benefits)
  • You are able to build strong relationships within your team and with the stakeholders across the business to enable the development of our people
  • You thrive in a developing organization, driving the implementation of new practices in a way that supports the local teams to do their best work and build the global culture of the organization
  • You work well in global teams, know how to contribute to the development of global practices and be responsible for their local implementation
  • You are a natural facilitator of change and are able to adapt your style to suit the individuals and the situations you are working in
  • Coaching is a key strength of yours and you deploy it to support improvements in performance
  • You have been successful in leading teams and developing competence in others in HR function
