Winery Tasting Room & Membership Sales Manager
Wednesday through Sunday position - No Late Nights
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 + Commission Compensation + Health Insurance

We are located in the heart of Temecula Wine Country, surrounded by hundreds of acres of vineyards and rolling hills. A short drive from most of Southern California, we have farmed this area for over 35 years, with our winery first opening its doors 15 years ago. In that time, we have become the benchmark in Temecula Wine Country for guest service. Whether you are brand new to the wonderful world of wine or a veteran connoisseur, we want you to enjoy your stay at the vineyard. In addition to tours, we also offer a behind the scenes look at our winery and even offer a chance to taste straight out of a cask.

Job Description: The Winery Tasting Room & Membership Sales Manager will promote an environment focused on excellent customer service and hospitality while leading a sales team. Reporting directly to our Ownership group, the Winery Tasting Room & Membership Sales Manager is responsible for achieving monthly and yearly tasting room sales and revenue goals. Our General Manager will oversee the hiring and training of new employees along with providing leadership, direction, and motivation to our hourly staff to create a positive environment for staff and guests alike. Working alongside our Wine Club Manager, the Winery Tasting Room & Membership Sales Manager will assist with growing our wine club along with other sales channels going directly to our customers. The ability to educate our staff on wine and the history of our vineyard is a vital part of this Winery Tasting Room & Membership Sales Manager position. This individual will ensure our retail merchandise is always fully stocked and work to create ways to enhance the overall guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • Hospitality Management, Retail Management, Sales Management experience
  • Experience is a sales based environment where meeting Sales Quota's and budgeted projections were part of duties
  • Must be able to work most weekends
  • Some wine knowledge a plus
  • Ability to increase sales and build rapport in the community
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Hands-on experience hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
  • Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
