The Food Service Director organizes, plans, directs, controls, and supervises functions and personnel within the dietary department which provides food and nutrition services. The Food Service Director will work closely with our Registered Dietitian ensuring the provision of quality food service and nutritional care.
We are looking for the right candidate to oversee a small but active skilled nursing facility in Livonia, NY. The director who leads this department will enjoy support both within the facility and within Hurlbut™ Care Communities; 13 skilled nursing facilities whose mission is to provide person-centered care to our residents to enrich body, heart, mind and spirit.
Associates or higher degree in food service management or in hospitality, including a course of study in food service or restaurant management from an accredited institution of higher learning.
Food service supervisory experience required; at least two years’ experience in long- term care preferred.
