Energy and Water Policy Analyst LocationCrystal City, VA Job TypeEnergy Status ENERGY AND WATER POLICY ANALYST Concurrent Technologies Corporation Arlington, VA Minimum Clearance Required: None (Secret preferred) Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Secret Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) is seeking a policy analyst to support and assist a senior Department of the Air Force client with a focus on climate, energy, and water issues. The ideal candidate will be able to apply project management strategies to ensure deliverables are submitted on-time and meet quality standards. Candidates will take on a range of assignments in a diversity of areas, from installation, energy and water resilience to program governance and legislative analysis.
Some travel may be required with this position. Key Responsibilities: * Support ongoing energy/water assurance efforts, with the objective of translating those processes and lessons learned into a combined energy and water assurance framework * Apply technical knowledge to the development, dissemination and presentation of program materials * Conduct research and analysis for special projects * Compile information and data, develop program plans, briefings or support meetings with stakeholders * Draft presentations, information papers, and articles * Support technical leads with ongoing efforts and technical product development to help resolve complex problems * Build strong client relationships Basic Qualifications: * Requires a Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of prior relevant experience * Willingness and ability to set priorities and deliver under tight deadlines in a heavy workload setting * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Ability to conduct research, apply principles, concepts and methodologies to difficult and/or varied assignments * Ability to work in teams, and establish and maintain cross-functional and working relationships * Provide original and creative input to meet objectives and new assignments * Capability to independently initiate and manage tasks, with a high degree of detail and process orientation * Ability to work with and understand technical concepts, while also being able to communicate them to a broad audience * Strong knowledge of M.S.
