As the Business Development and Marketing Manager you will be responsible for assisting the Vice President of Business Development with current growth opportunities in the sales pipeline, as well as managing various marketing campaigns.

An ideal candidate will assist the Vice President of Business Development in successfully identifying and reaching out to healthcare clients, as well as being involved in sales strategies to support the growth and goals of our company and its clients. This includes assisting in the design and development of marketing materials, proposals, presentations and other sales deliverables to prospective clients. At times, this position will be heavily reliant on cold calling over the phone as you will help maintain a pipeline of healthcare facilities by continued communication via phone and email with the goal of gaining new clients. The ideal candidate will be confident, persuasive and unafraid of cold calling, in order to effectively generate healthcare facility leads by engaging decision makers and prospective clients.

In addition, the role will consist of digital marketing management and facilitation of client facing social media campaigns, long-form content for the website and case studies, as well as design and development of marketing deliverables tailored to prospective clients as Concord’s services grow and change.

As Concord continues to grow in new territories, the Business Development and Marketing Manager will coordinate Concord’s presence at various events and tradeshows, including identifying such events, being the key contact with event coordinators and Concord attendees, as well as managing and ordering promotional items.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office and unafraid to learn and utilize new software and web-based platforms that will assist in Marketing and Business Development efforts. Experience with Wordpress, Hubspot (or other CRMs) and Adobe Create Suite is a plus (but not required).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist VP of Business Development in facilitating the sales process with prospective clients.
  • Design and development of marketing materials, proposals, presentations and other sales deliverables.
  • Manage Concord’s presence at Tradeshows and other Business Development events, including occasional travel to such events.
  • Cold call prospective clients derived from lists, referrals and marketing initiatives.
  • Follow up with leads who have been contacted in the past.
  • Set appointments for VP of Business Development and Executive Team with the ultimate goal of closing qualified leads.
  • Use email to correspond with prospective clients
  • Researching qualified healthcare facility leads
  • Use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool capture all information regarding leads as well as facilitate lead flow to others in the area
  • Assist in Marketing initiatives and projects including creative writing, social media management, WordPress & document design.
  • Assist Business Development and other Concord departments in Brand Management.
  • Some travel is required.
