Our client near Steamboat Springs/Craig, CO is looking for a (1) Radiology X-ray/CT Technologist AND and (2) X-ray Technologists to join their team. (****Please note: This is a direct full-time permanent position that will be located in the SteamboatSprings/Craig CO area and require relocation. We will provide relocation assistance for the right candidate.)

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for quality and efficient completion of radiologic procedures for diagnostic interpretation. The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing patient education, quality patient care, and meeting all regulatory compliance. Must be able to perform X-ray procedures. (for the (2) CT position, must also be able to perform CT procedures)
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
Demonstrates advanced knowledge in radiographic procedures including, but not limited to X-ray and Fluoroscopy, with C-arm and OR work.
Practices radiation safety, adhering to ALARA standards.
Asks female patients if they are pregnant and protects them from harmful radiation.
Performs QC in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.
Able to operate equipment consistent with manufacturer's recommendations.
Performs all exams based on Imaging Department Protocols or protocols the exam with the Radiologist.
Assists with clerical duties and patient transportation when required.
Answers the telephone, directs calls, and accurately records messages as needed.
Assists, trains, or cross-trains imaging staff members as directed.
o High School Diploma
o Valid Colorado Driver's License
o ARRT registration in Radiology.
o Current CPR
o Prior experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist
o Technologist will be encouraged to cross-train to in to other modalities.
o Effective communication.
o General knowledge of all Microsoft Office products.
o Ability to learn and work with all electronic recordsincluding PACS and RIS/HIS.
