Computers and Beyond is an IT services provider and computer retail store in Southwest Minnesota and we are looking for computer networking gurus and tech ninjas. To rock this job, skills that will be required include clear analog communication with carbon based life forms, the constant thrill of a new challenge, the desire to always be learning stuff your parents don’t understand, and OK with being assimilated and making contributions to the team’s greater consciousness.
Qualifications assessment:

• 127.0.0.1 makes you feel like at home
• While explaining a new technology to your more normal friends, they glaze over quickly
• Wait, you have no normal friends
• You regularly download BETA code, ALPHA gets you real excited
• DEFCON is on your bucket list
• Most of your sentences include TLA’s (three letter acronyms)
• A command prompt is always open on your computer
• You have rooted or jailbroke your cell phone
• You can subnet in your head
• You have to take vitamin D in the summer
• Optional: you live in your parents basement
• OK, you get the idea…What we are looking for:Someone who wants to be a technical rock star! If you have great customer service skills, a keen aptitude for computer technologies and the drive to be a great engineer, then Computers and Beyond has the opportunity for you. This position requires an intermediate level of computer repair and networking knowledge. But be warned, to be successful, this job will require the capacity to absorb knowledge and a commitment to excel. What you will be doing: phisically Installing, maintaining, and managing devices in a networked system, and performing some remote and bench repairs at the office, including workstations, switches, firewalls, servers and Star Destroyers.
