Duration: 6+ Months -Hourly contract
Location: Remote

Job Title: Information Security Business Analyst

 

This role will drive developing the approach for and execution of managing project requirements for the Identity Verification project.

The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience leading requirements phases of IT projects. Experience in Information Security projects is a plus. Experience working with Fraud, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Compliance, and/or Know Your Customer (KYC) is a plus.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business requirements and user needs.
  • Project stakeholders include:
    • LoB Retail and Commercial product teams,
    • Risk/Operations Partners from Fraud, AML/Compliance, KYC,
    • Information Security SMEs
    • Other project teams as warranted.
  • Collaborate with Lead SME, KTO Technical BA’s, LOB vertical leads to document business requirements, ensure traceability through technical requirements, design and testing.
  • Able to take direction and exercise independent judgment on small engagements or as a part of a team
  • Eliciting business requirements, translating and defining functional requirements, functional specifications and functional documents.

 

 

Required Experience and Skills:

· Mandatory 5 years’ experience

· Ideal Candidate: Experience in Information Security projects is a plus

· Review, analyze, and evaluate business requirements and user needs.

· Project stakeholders include:

· Risk/Operations Partners from Fraud, AML/Compliance, KYC,

· Information Security SMEs

· Other project teams as warranted.

· Collaborate with Lead SME, KTO Technical BA’s, LOB vertical leads to document business requirements, ensure traceability through technical requirements, design and testing.

· Able to take direction and exercise independent judgment on small engagements or as a part of a team

· Eliciting business requirements, translating and defining functional requirements, functional specifications and functional documents.

· Experience in IT related development/maintenance projects – you will be partnering closely with technical teams and sharing and propagating the business requirements.

· Proven leadership and client management skills – an ability to provide guidance on improvements to business processes and optimizing business solutions.

· Proven ability to partner with business, technical and QA teams – you will be working with all areas during development iterations while keeping the functional and business requirements aligned.

· Proven ability as a team member – you will support PM and other roles to ensure good governance practices and to ensure the success of the project.

· Excellent written & oral communication skills

Skilled in facilitation, elicitation, documentation, requirements analysis, requirements management, risk management, consultative approach, critical thinking, strong technical aptitude
