Principal Consultant, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central

At our core, our team's mission is to help our clients win. In order to do that, our growing team is looking for a Dynamics 365 NAV/BC Functional Consultant who will be highly motivated to deliver exceptional results throughout the client life cycle.

Our consultants work directly with our clients as business analysts and technical experts. The key purpose of this role is hands-on configuration and support of Dynamics NAV/BC to fit with the clients system requirements and business objectives. Our consultants are passionately striving to exceed client expectations, and they seek out ways to continuously improve their product knowledge and consulting skills. Facilitate the successful application of Dynamics NAV/Business Central using industry best practices and CGS methodology.

Work with clients to understand their business requirements and Dynamics NAV/Business Central Functionality.

Communicate effectively in all mediums and to all levels within the organization.

Deliver creative solutions to client challenges by applying product knowledge and industry expertise.

Set aside time for self-development by attending training or self-learning on key subjects.

Eager to improve client experiences by staying current on emerging Microsoft technologies and 3rd party software solutions.

Embrace and leverage a collaborative approach across a multitude of roles and situations.

Participate in creating internal documentation, generating blog content and involved in group discussions on how our team can improve.

Work pro-actively with clients managing strategic projects or initiatives to ensure they continue to receive value from the Dynamics NAV/Business Central applications.

Work reactively on break/fix support to ensure clients experience minimal service disruptions.

Escalate ISV related product issues and work with partners to drive for resolution.

Apply experience and knowledge while working with clients to ascertain solution requirements, potential technical options within Dynamics NAV/Business Central and related technologies, and scope and resource requirements associated with each option.

Design & test custom solutions & integrations managing functional design & scope. Effectively coordinate with development resources to build and deliver custom solutions and integrations

Represent CGS through effective communication with clients throughout the solution life-cycle.

Mentor team members.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology or related field, or proven experience and track record of success.

4+ years Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central experience highly preferred, end user experience will also be considered.

Strong technical aptitude

Ability to work directly with clients, individually or with a team.

Ability to concurrently deliver on multiple projects or priorities.

Ability to communicate effectively written or verbal.

Ability to work collaboratively for the best interests of the business and the team.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV Certification preferred.

Knowledge of Dynamics SL and GP preferred
