Location : Portland, OR

Duration : 9 Months Contract

Pay rate : 80 $/Hr

The Role:

Community Support, Foundation Analytics - Analyst

The Community Support Analytics and Insights, Analyst will support the Foundation Analytics team in delivering best-in-class analytics tools, reporting, and metrics driven analysis.

As a focused hard-working and meticulous analyst, you will ensure up-time, reliability, and quality of the work that the Analytics team delivers. You will support the key stakeholders with analyses of productivity, satisfaction, operations and SLA’s across both internal and external service teams. The business analyst will work closely with other analytics functions within Community Support, as well as Engineering and Data Science.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform data investigation by reviewing pipelines and uncovering and fixing issues across internal and external sources
  • Building data pipelines and data models in Airflow, using SQL and Python
  • Develop Tableau/Superset dashboards working with stakeholders to create requirements and deliver actionable dashboards that map to business needs
  • Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to attribute key business drivers
  • Analyzes and defines metrics that tie back to business performance and initiatives
  • Support large scale migration projects driving business continuity by updating data pipelines, dashboards, and validating data


  • Master’s or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study
  • 4 + years top tier analyst business intelligence or analytics
  • Experience in automating and building reporting pipelines
  • Expertise in SQL
  • Experience with Big Data/Analytics platforms/languages like Hive, Python, R a big plus
  • Experience with Tableau or similar BI platform to develop reports and dashboards
  • Ability to tailor insights to present clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Hands-on to get things done fast and ability to work without continual guidance
  • Enquiring mind with ability to recognize inefficiencies and challenge the status quo
  • Attention to detail combined with creative thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills + able to work cross functionally
  • Superior reporting and editing skills
  • Experience with customer service or customer operations analytics a huge plus
