Composites Universal Group is a composite Manufacturing company with a 25-year history of providing composite tooling, parts and sub-assemblies to the General Aviation, Aerospace, Space and Unmanned Drone marketplaces! We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic Corporate Controller to join our Team and provide strong financial leadership. This is a senior level position for long term employment. The Corporate Controller would be an integral part of the Corporate Management Team providing leadership, management and the vision necessary to ensure continued growth, financial strength and operating efficiencies. The ideal candidate is a high level, strategic minded person who will become a close and trusted advisor to the CEO and who will be instrumental in taking the company to the next level of growth.

You will be responsible for developing, monitoring and evaluating corporate strategy with the CEO/Director of Operations with an emphasis on bottom line performance, working capital and enhancing shareholder value. The Corporate Controller will be directly responsible for providing strategic leadership along with planning, developing, implementing, directing and evaluating the Organization’s financial functions and performance. This is a KEY role that will provide leadership and controls in achieving company growth, profitability and strategic objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

·         Prepare and issue timely and accurate monthly financial records for review and planning.

·         Streamline Month end, Quarterly and Year end closing processes.

·         Full charge of AP, AR and all General Ledger functions.

·         Further develop banking relationships and prepare monthly borrowing base certificates.

·         Oversee, coach, train all direct reports while maintaining strong employee relationships.

·         Review of all processes to identify areas of improvement and efficiency in meeting corporate goals and mission.

·         Create budgets and conduct comparative analysis budget to actual.

·         Set short term and long-term strategic financial objectives for the Company, while supporting the executive team with key financial information and operational analytics, driving a culture of accountability in managing the business.

·         Assist the CEO in successful growth of the Business.

·         Provide day-to-day leadership and management guidance which mirror the adopted corporate mission and core value.  Bottomline: Grow a self-sustaining company   - Fast!

 

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance.

·         5 plus years of progressive experience including Controller experience.

·         Manufacturing experience is a must.

·         Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite with excellent Excel skills along with a Command of QuickBooks.

·         Thorough knowledge of US GAAP.

·         Strong Leadership skills and dedication to achieving results.

·         Experience utilizing Accounting software / ERP systems.

·         Strong written/verbal communication skills.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skillset.

 

Experience:

·         Management:        3 years min.

·         Accounting:          5-7 years min.

·        Controller:             5 years min.
