Operations Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as the primary contact to the school districts we serve and build relationships with the school districts.
• Interview, hire, and train new transportation coordinators/supervisors.
• Prepare monthly work schedules.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels for drivers and monitors.
• Ensure all employees have proper certifications, training, and licensing.
• Oversee the vehicle maintenance function at your office and keep our vans in a high state of readiness.
• Review and prepare billing each month.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Self-motivated, show initiative, and have a strong work ethic.
• You must be comfortable with early-morning hours.
• Exhibit strong leadership skills and have the ability to successfully supervise and direct teams.
• Be proficient in all areas of Company’s operations and serve as the contact person for outside vendors in your office.
• Effective customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Must be detail oriented, and like solving problems.
• Understand the educational programs, the students and the employees to sufficiently determine appropriate assignments.
• Maintain a good driving record and enjoy working in an environment that is 100% committed to supporting our students.
• Maintain a very high standard of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Follow our policies and procedures.
• Understand the roads, the distances, and the place-to-place times in the areas we serve.
• Proficient experience in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Must show ‘grace under pressure’ during extreme busy times.
