Healthcare Customer Service Representative (Claims Department)

We are seeking a Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues.


Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints
  • Provide information about the products and services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
  • Responsible for providing efficient, thorough, and courteous customer service
  • Co-ordinate and respond to inquiries and request received via the mail and company internet access.
  • Provide timely and accurate information in response to patient inquiries
  • Answer patient requests according to policies and procedures, and follow client protocols
  • Research each issue presented by callers thoroughly and completes all necessary follow
  • Process Explanation of Benefits and Claims

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, claims, medical insurance industry required
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Must understand EOBS
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
