Summary: Provides administrative support to the Director of Human Resources and other Corporate Executives by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Processes hourly time sheets biweekly using electronic time clock data.
§ Confers and obtains accurate hours worked information from supervisors.
§ Maintains the accuracy of the Payroll and HRIS systems
§ Prepares and distributes monthly general ledger reports to Finance Director.
§ Reports and ensures the timely receipt of biweekly 401(k) contribution information to external administrator.
§ Prepares and distributes new hire, benefit eligibility, and separation packets.
§ Manages DOT files & tracking (includes, Random Drug Tests, Physicals, Driver Licenses)
§ Conducts Employee Orientation and benefits meetings.
§ Prepares and distributes monthly turnover and overtime reports to Executive Committee and Owners.
§ Maintains employee records by updating and recording information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason.
§ Processes employment applications and assists in other employment activities.
§ Prepares and reports industrial accidents and injuries to worker's compensation office.
§ Maintains employee files.
§ Performs various miscellaneous duties requested by Owner and Executive Committee.
§ Interprets and communicates all company and employee sponsored health and welfare benefits.
§ Resolves enrollment and claim issues connected to health and welfare benefits.
§ Prepares and sends EEO annual report.
§ Displays OSHA Form 300A and files annual reports.
§ Updates and maintains legal posters at each location.
§ This position requires regular and reliable attendance and adherence to work schedules

Education and/or Experience:
Must be hands on; demonstrate initiative by taking calculated risks when appropriate.
Requires minimum supervision and is able to grasp operational concepts and direction within the first 30 –60 days of employment.
3-5 years of direct Payroll and/or Human Resources Experience at the HR Administrator Level. Benefits administration experience preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources preferred.
Must be an effective communicator and a good listener. Must be able to present information to all levels within the organization.
Ability to calculate overtime rates, hours worked, and voluntary benefits withholding amounts.
Ability to remain focused, collect data, establish facts, and develop a working solution to rectify the situation without emotion. Ability to work effectively and calmly with short deadlines and situational conflicts. Ability to switch gears, moving from one priority to another, while completing projects on time.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite, ADP Workforce Now, Electronic Time Card software, have working knowledge of Internet software and E-mail software.
