Inside Sales and Customer Service - Carlstadt, NJ

Garvin Construction Products is a family owned distribution business servicing the construction industry for over 70 years. We are looking for an inside sales representative ready to join a rapidly growing company. The position is in our Carlstadt, NJ location, with other branches in CT, NY, MD, and MA.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, a self-starter, who is energetic, and possesses strong customer service and communication skills. This person must thrive in a fast paced, team orientated environment. The primary responsibility of this position is to efficiently maintain and grow Garvin's customer base and sales. The right candidate will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and grow within the organization.

Inside Sales and Customer Service Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Inside Sales
• Processing Orders
• Assisting outside sales team whenever necessary
• Customer quoting and work within a given price matrix
• Coordinate customer deliveries
• Actively participate in new marketing strategies to build sales and customer relationships
• Tracking and managing inventory
• Monday through Friday workweek

Inside Sales and Customer Service Requirements:

• Must be a team player with a positive attitude
• Ability to multitask and be resourceful
• Must have a reliable means of transportation
• Prior counter sales experience a plus
• Prior industry experience preferred, but not required
• Must be proficient with Microsoft word, Outlook, Excel, CRM
