The RBT will provide one on one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and to reduce challenging behaviors to children across all environments. RBT’s will use interventions written by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA services will be provided in our Compleat KiDZ Pediatric Therapy clinics located in Gastonia, Lincolnton and Hickory NC.
- Follows behavior and skill acquisition plan written by BCBA
- Assist BCBA in supervision of BT’s/RBT’s
- Assist BCBA with administrative duties
- Collects all relevant data inside the session
- Completes session documentation
- Able to manage disruptive behavior within guidelines set by behavior intervention plan
- Collaborates with family and treatment team
- Communicates any relevant information from sessions to the BCBA
- Flexible and able to adapt in the moment
- Willing to learn
- RBT’s may be required to provide services in more than one clinic
- Has basic computer skills familiar with Excel
- Pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
- 2 years of experience as an RBT
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; run with/after children, use hands to assist patients in standing/sitting; reach with hands and arms; and have the agility to regularly and quickly transition from sitting on gym floor to standing and directing patients. Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs are also required.
Working Environment: This job operates in an outpatient clinic environment. Travel between clinics may be required if RBT is servicing more than one clinic.
