Territory Sales - Agriculture Equipment
An established Ag Equipment Dealer is looking to add a highly-motivated sales person to their team! The right candidate will have experience within the agriculture industry, and sales experience is preferred. This position will be selling equipment to the surrounding territory for the dealership which includes servicing existing clients as well as cold-calling. The company is well established throughout the area and offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
- 2+ Years of experience in related industry - preferably in sales
- Experience and knowledge in large agricultural equipment
- High-level organizational skills
- Evidence as a self-motivator
- Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Office products and sales software
- Effective communication skills
- Prefer at least a 2-year degree in ag-related field
- Sell equipment within defined territory to new and existing customers - some cold-calling required
- Staying current with product knowledge on all equipment
- Maintaining and making new contacts within territory
- Conducting field demonstrations
- Understanding different financing options to assist customers in sales process
- Ability to construct your own schedule and meet goals
