Compass Truck Rental and Leasing has expanded its fleet to 1000+ semitrucks and we are looking to expand the shop maintenance capacity to provide the quickest truck maintenance turnaround in the industry! Compass Holding, LLC. is looking for Diesel Mechanics that can successfully run the following scope of work:

-Maintains diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements

-Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests

-Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules

-Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics

-Makes adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units

Qualifications and Skills

-Some customer interaction is necessary; You must be able to listen attentively, diffuse their frustration and offer a solution

-Professionalism is a must

-CDL license preferred

-1+ years diesel mechanic experience required

Schedule

We are currently hiring for two shifts: 8am-5pm and 12pm-9pm

Experience:

• Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical: 1 year (Preferred)
