The Marketing Coordinator - Automotive is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns that drive the growth of the Kenda Tires brand. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and the Vice President of Automotive, this position will assist with product management, channel management, loyalty programs, and strategy development. The marketing coordinator will manage the execution of plans across digital marketing, content marketing, and PR/communications, and will report on activities and ROI. They will also manage the day-to-day administration of the Authorized Online Retailer and Minimum Advertised Pricing programs. This role will help grow consumer brand awareness and will be integral in building the visual identity of the brand to ensure Kenda is competitive in the automotive market.



Planning, coordinating, and maintaining activities to ensure alignment with strategy, brand, and company goals

  • Assist with the development and continuous optimization of Kenda's digital presence across various social media and web platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, company website, email campaigns, SEO/SEM)
  • Collaborate with various departments and outside partners to conceive, develop and execute marketing campaigns and activities
  • Maintain and organize all creative assets and brand components
  • Coordinates the logistical aspects relating to large event participation (e.g., dealer meetings, trade shows, client presentations, etc.)
  • Coordinate PR and editorial efforts with trade media, influencers, and internal stakeholders
  • Work with industry publications to support brand and communications strategies
  • Operate as the principal or secondary point of contact for all marketing and communication contact with the public, sponsorships, and various media outlets
  • Manage the daily administration of Kenda’s “Authorized Online Retailer” and “Minimum Advertised Pricing” programs
  • Assist with the administration of co-op advertising programs and Kenda Traction loyalty program



  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business Admin, Marketing, or Communications
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, tire industry and/or agency background a plus
  • Strong understanding of digital and social media marketing, strategy, and advertising
  • Experience with graphic design, photography, or video a plus
  • Skill in collecting and analyzing marketing metrics to determine campaign effectiveness- ROI
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization
  • Self-motivated with the ability to lead projects or tasks and work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
  • Ability to travel and interact with retail and wholesale customers for marketing & sales planning within North America
  • Must demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times
