Job Description

We are seeking a Logistics Administrative Assistant to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides diversified administrative support Trade Standards team.
  • Support various import projects and /or processes related to company US divisions’ Customs Clearance filings.
  • Support monitoring key workflows to avoid delays and ensure Key performance goals are met
  • Support communications with Vendors related to various importing processes and systems access
  • Respond to vendor requests, approves, verifies, and issues user access administration. 
  • Monitor and action daily work queue
  • Support Purchase Order troubleshooting and issue resolution

Qualifications:

  • 1+ yrs experience in a Customs/Trade Compliance, Operations, Retail &/or Logistics in a corporate setting, is preferred; open to a recent grad
  • Must possess strong organizational, prioritization and administrative skills and the ability to multitask and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent, solid written and verbal communication skills and be customer service oriented
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems/processes 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Willingness to learn, take direction well and be a team player
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude are required
