Job Description
We are seeking a Logistics Administrative Assistant to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.
Responsibilities:
- Provides diversified administrative support Trade Standards team.
- Support various import projects and /or processes related to company US divisions’ Customs Clearance filings.
- Support monitoring key workflows to avoid delays and ensure Key performance goals are met
- Support communications with Vendors related to various importing processes and systems access
- Respond to vendor requests, approves, verifies, and issues user access administration.
- Monitor and action daily work queue
- Support Purchase Order troubleshooting and issue resolution
Qualifications:
- 1+ yrs experience in a Customs/Trade Compliance, Operations, Retail &/or Logistics in a corporate setting, is preferred; open to a recent grad
- Must possess strong organizational, prioritization and administrative skills and the ability to multitask and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent, solid written and verbal communication skills and be customer service oriented
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems/processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
- Willingness to learn, take direction well and be a team player
- Flexibility and a positive attitude are required
