Job Description

PURPOSE: The Account Manager is responsible for pre-sale support, implementation of new business and all post sale account interaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists Account Executive with onboarding new clients
  • Implements new accounts by coordinating with internal departments, external vendors and customers
  • Manages all day to day aspects of existing accounts, including escalated service issues, special reporting, and liaison for new legislation
  • Manages and communicates pipeline on existing business
  • Builds and maintains relationships with clients and key personnel, internally and externally
  • Resolves customer issues quickly and effectively
  • Aims to preserve customers and renew business
  • Provides updates to Director to ensure awareness of changes within client relationships
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience working as a client relationship manager or a track record of managing client relationships
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers
  • Previous sales experience and an organised approach to work
  • Hardworking with a strong work ethic
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Teamwork and leadership skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

 

Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A.) and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
