conducting and supervision of activities of the client population. Attends and participates in staff meetings, training classes and supervision. Documents all significant interactions with each client.
Interacts with consumer population in order to provide guidance, safety, stability and direction. May provide transportation for consumers in center vehicles when clinically indicated and in accordance with hospital contracts. Medication monitoring and administration in accordance with QMAP standards.
Monitors and documents client vital signs, physical condition and behavior as needed. Monitors milieu activities and ensures safety. Monitors the facility to insure it is maintained in a neat and orderly manner and that all outside doors remain secured.
Conducts intake and discharges. Monitors/observes Urinalysis (UA) or Breath Alcohol (BA) tests as needed and documents appropriately. Provides case management services assisting clients with information access, resource direction, and support counseling.
Supports client treatment plans and discusses progress toward goals with clients; and, supports other clinical staff as needed. Provides care to consumers in a manner that recognizes the human potential, is empathic and demonstrates unconditional positive regard while promoting safety, comfort and the therapeutic environment.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (psychology, counseling, human services, or social work) preferred. Six months work experience.
Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) or ability to obtain within six months. Valid Colorado Drivers License with a driving record that meets agency requirements. Current CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within six months.
Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC I) is preferred, must be registered in DORA within 90 days of hire.
