As the community action agency of York County, CPC offers services in more than 20 locations throughout the county. We provide our neighbors with opportunities in early childhood education, nutrition counseling, workforce development, housing and financial education and our Self-Sufficiency Program, all which support low-income individuals toward their goal of achieving financial stability.

SUMMARY: The Executive Assistant provides reliable administrative support to the President/CEO and members of the leadership team. This position requires a self-motivated, task-oriented individual. The executive assistant must be extremely organized, able to maintain strict confidentiality, pay close attention to detail, and can manage multiple projects in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.

Knowledge

  • Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Computers - Knowledge of software applications: Microsoft Office and Office 365.
  • Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Associates degree, Certification or diploma program in Office Management or related field and three (3) years of administrative experience; or a high school diploma and equivalent combination of education and experience.
