WE SEEK A CANDIDATE WHO:

-Is a self-starter willing to invest time and energy to learn the technical aspects of our business.

-Believes in integrity and building success by developing relationships with others.

-Has 3-5 years of sales experience in Insurance Brokerage, Human Capital Management, Payroll, Employee Benefits or similar roles including calling on senior executives and a track record of financial success.

-Has superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

-Has high-level organizational and follow-up skills.

-Utilizes a consultative, positive and resourceful approach to dealing with prospects and clients.

-Has developed excellent listening skills with strong customer focus.

-Has the ability to work with senior level management and has a top level executive presence.

-Can identify new opportunities in mid-sized, large, complex accounts and has experience working with groups of 50 – 500 employees.

-Is highly knowledgeable in employee design and regulatory environment.

 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITI#ES

-Develop business book growth (new Sales, referrals, cross-selling opportunities) by achieving revenue objectives through consultative sales to new clients and expansion of service lines to existing clients.

-Build an active pipeline of qualified prospects and document activity, notes, prospect data in sales tracking systems (Salesforce).

-Work with clients to understand benefit needs and develop consultative business solutions.

-Develop and execute a business plan based on established sales objectives.

-Review existing policy coverages and makes recommendations based on strategic understanding of client objectives.

-Responsible for meeting annual sales goals in addition to proactive approach to personal and professional development.

-Seamlessly transition onboarded clients to designated consultant.

-Work as liaison with client service team to accommodate client needs, retain and grow business.

-Accept and handle any duties/prospects as assigned by agency management.

-Commitment to continual learning and development of sales and technical expertise.

-Participate in continuing education, self-education and credentialing.
