Job Summary: Under the direction of the Executive Director, this leadership position of the Energy Programs services holds overall responsibility for the daily and long-term administration of Energy services through budget management, development of offered services, and assignment and reporting of projects.
Scope of Supervision: Energy Conservation team members including: Assistant Director of Operations, Energy Program Manager, Program Compliance Manager, and Office Manager.
Essential Functions(Not All Inclusive):
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for day-to-day operations of Energy Programs according to the Agency's strategic plan.
• Understand and comply with applicable program federal, state, and local laws, regulations, guidelines, and funding source requirements.
• Implement and continually monitor program operations to assure that Agency policies and procedures are adhered to as well as plans established for the programs.
• Ensure coordination between all energy programs and other Agency programs.
• Provide for statistical reports to funding sources as required by contracts.
• Reports as required or requested to the Executive Director.
• Responsible for planning and developing systems for efficient delivery of energy services.
• Work with energy stakeholders; develop a plan for the improvement and expansion of energy services to reach more low income customers.
• Work with the MIS/Operations Department and plan for future technology needs for the Energy Programs. • Implement the Agency's culture vision as part of the objectives and goals for the Energy Department.
• Plan, organize and implement expansion of Energy Services.
Requirements
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field with 7 years of related experience in the field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job including 5 years of management experience. Experience in public speaking is desirable. Experience with legislative process and testimony is desirable.
Abilities and Skills: In order to be successful in this position, the person will at minimum need to possess the following abilities and skills: Excellent oral and written communications skills; good computer skills, training and public relations skills; budget and contract administration skills; ability to work with low-income and multi-ethnic groups and individuals; valid driver's license and vehicle for use with mileage reimbursement.
Core Technology Competency: Level 2 - Intermediate 1
Work Knowledge: Knowledge and experience of energy conservation programs available to low-income households; knowledge of alternate area community resources; knowledge of heating ventilation and air conditioning; and plumbing, heating, and building codes; knowledge of updated/current weatherization procedures; knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local energy funding source guidelines, regulations, and requirements beneficial.

Schedule: M-F, 40 Hours/Week, Full Year
Remote Capability: This position has 20% remote capability.
