Job Duties:

The Installation Foreman is responsible for supporting In-Building Solutions (IBS)/Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), service deployments, and the coordination of installations. The Installation Foreman will have direct oversight of the Installation Team’s day-to-day activities.

  • Enforce company policy and procedures to cultivate an environment of accountability that adheres to CE’s Core Values.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations.
  • Responsible for field operations and installation activities on a project-by-project basis, including both staff and subcontract personnel.
  • Provide the Construction Manager with Daily Field Reports and project status at the end of each business day.
  • Manage on-site cabling distributed antenna systems and low voltage cabling.
  • Support a wide range of field-oriented installation services including cabling, antenna installations, cable and fiber terminations, and testing.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions of electronic equipment and installations in order to diagnose and correct operational problems.
  • Build special components to accommodate the installation of necessary equipment.
  • Maintain daily time tracking logs, routine work tickets, and warranty paperwork in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain a neat work area and accurate inventory.
  • Participate in special projects as directed.
  • Participate in after-hours service and installation work as needed.
  • Participate in training to keep up with technology.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and/or graduation from a certified vocational school with an emphasis in the field of electronic systems.
  • A Minimum of two (2) years of experience in related responsibilities, with experience in the specific area of technology.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of one or more of the below applicable work segments:
    • DAS/BDA Systems
    • RF Networks
    • Installation of wireless networks
    • Installation of low voltage cabling
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, have a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
