POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the Repair Station Quality Assurance System to include overall compliance with FAA regulations, applicable regulations of Foreign Authorities, and industry best practices.EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1.Assists with continuous improvement of the Repair Station Quality Manual and internal operating procedures, processes and work instructions.2.Supports QA management in the development and reporting of key Repair Station metrics.3.Performs internal RSQM, EASA, and monthly hangar audits of the Repair Station to include but not limited to: initiation, follow-up, tracking and closure of Corrective Action Requests.4.Performs internal audits of maintenance records to include but not limited to: action cards, work orders, and other work documentation as required. 5.Performs audits of external vendors as required.6.Conducts damage/rework investigations, as directed, using the FAiR System and reviews all quality investigations to determine corrective action.7.Assists in the maintenance of the Repair Station FAA and foreign certifications.8.Providing clear understanding and direction to all employees regarding the importance of Quality through the development, implementation, monitoring and revision of policy and procedures.9.Maintain a company commitment to quality improvement by expecting safe conduct on the part of all managers, supervisors, and employees.10.Holds all employees accountable for Quality.11.All other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC:1.HS diploma or GED, valid FAA A&P2.Must be proficient in Aviation Quality Assurance best practices to include but not limited to: a thorough knowledge of the 14 CFR Parts 21, 43, 65, 91, 135 and 145 as well as, additional supporting FAA Regulations, Orders, Notices, Advisory Circulars (ACs), and industry guidance related to quality, manufacturing, maintenance and certification.3.Previous experience within a DAS/ODA, Certified Repair Station and/or AS9100 environment would be considered an advantage.4.Must be skilled in the ability to communicate technical issues in an assertive and tactful manner while effectively motivating people of various departments and management levels. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:1.Skilled in the ability to read, interpret and apply knowledge related to use of type design to include but not limited to: dwgs, specs, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc. 2.Fosters collaborative working relationships which benefit the overall business activity of Comlux.3.Proficient with PC and MS Office tools including: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Power Point, MS Access.4.Must be proficient with FAA RGL, possess the ability to identify, locate and research the necessary regulatory requirements and guidance information.
