Project Financial Analyst (Job #1762)

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides financial reporting and analysis for multiple Aircraft Completion ProjectsEXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:•Works directly with Project Managers to prepare and present project-specific financials.•Participate in meeting with CEO, COO, and project managers and be able to challenge positions and escalate issues as identified•Assisting Head of Finance in weekly project management meetings•Supporting as required in the preparation of Management accounts and variance analysis•Works directly with Planning Department to prepare and present monthly Executive financial information.•Calculates individual items such as labor, material, and time costs.•Calculates relationship of sales/revenues to cost and overhead expenditures.•Develops, maintains and updates management databases.•Tracks expenses and revenues vs. budget and assists with reforecasting and analysis of fluctuations.•Evaluates profit and cost efficiencies. •Assists in the budget & reforecast process.•Develops and distributes ad-hoc reports as needed. •Other duties may be assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC:•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required•Minimum of 3 years of experience in reporting or analysis position •Project costs experience a plus•Qualified CPA •At least 3 years’ experience with a Big 4 firm•Good, positive attitude REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:•Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint)•Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects•Excellent Communication skills•Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills•Ability to complete projects timely and accurately critical•Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills•Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
