Comfort Xpress in Seminole, OK is hiring for a full-time HVAC Outside Sales Representative to set appointments and go over our heating and cooling products with our commercial and residential customers. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF HVAC OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

n

As an HVAC Outside Sales Representative, you start each day ready to personally connect with clients and offer them the best possible solutions for their commercial and residential heating and cooling needs. You meet with general contractors, business owners, realtors, and more. Projecting a professional, friendly image is essential as you are not just selling new units but selling our company as a whole.

After warmly greeting each client and answering any questions or listening to any concerns they may have, you thoroughly inspect the equipment or review project plans. Then, you can recommend the appropriate products and explain their associated benefits honestly, clearly, and accurately. When you make a sale, you communicate the details to the installation manager, warehouse supervisor, and installation coordinator.

As a result of using the proven sales process that we have trained you in, you have the opportunity to be very successful in this position. To stay at the top of your game, you must strive to continually enhance your sales skills and product knowledge. You will enjoy meeting new people, working at new locations, and the variety of day-to-day tasks this position has to offer. At the end of the day, you will feel good about having facilitated more comfortable spaces at fair prices for your clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong sales presence

  • Product and vendor knowledge OR the ability to quickly learn it

  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • n
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • n

Prior HVAC sales experience is strongly recommended, but not required. Are you an energetic go-getter? Are you goal-oriented? Do you love meeting new people? Can you establish rapport easily? Do you have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information in layman's terms? Are you a problem-solver with excellent listening skills? Do you project a professional image? If so, you may be perfect for this position!
