The Comfort Keepers Care Supervisor is responsible for sharing our core values and mission with our caregivers and clients. You'll be the first point of contact with our extraordinary caregivers in the field. Your role is to ensure our original promises are kept and executed with excellence by maintaining an ongoing relationship with clients and caregivers. As we experience growth and you gain valuable leadership and problem-solving skills, you'll be in a prime position to become a client care director.



Working Environment:

Hybrid office and field environment. Must be able to work by car while visiting various facilities, hospitals, and doctors' offices to perform external duties.

Friday - Monday, 8 am - 7 pm 2+ nights on call

Job Description:
• Ongoing coaching and support to our fantastic caregivers.
• Ensuring caregivers have appropriate supplies and equipment.
• Address and resolve any safety concerns brought up by caregivers or clients.
• Pop in client visits to keep abreast of their condition and report any changes to the client care director.
• Serves as a liaison between the client, caregiver, scheduler, and human resources coordinator
• Issue resolution management.
• Will complete daily check-ins with schedulers, care supervisors, and retention & satisfaction specialists.
• Performs assessments/in-home sales calls to establish services for potential clients. Implements contracts and agreements to ensure that sales goals are met. Informs clients/families of CK policies/procedures.
• Makes prospect calls (visits) to care providers (Doctors, RN, PT, OT, secretary, etc.) of existing and new clients and follows up with the referral sources from current clients. Shares and reviews the plans of care.
• Develops and maintains prospects, clients, care providers, and referral sources database for relationship management.
• While covering shifts - Provide light housekeeping, run errands, or provide transportation if needed. Personal services include but are not limited to assisting with medications, toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming. They also assist with going to the bank, paying bills, accompanying clients to appointments and grocery stores, and preparing meals.
• Participates in on-call rotation by carrying the agency's emergency cell phone. While on-call, handles all client, caregiver, and scheduling issues and conducts new client intakes as needed.
• Attends weekly meetings and participates in maintaining systems and procedures that improve care coordination, client satisfaction, and employee performance. Supports office operations as needed.
• Completes special projects as needed.

• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills (Office, Excel, & PowerPoint). Will master additional software, including Google Calendar and ClearCare management system.

• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize
• Able to adapt to the frequently changing needs of clients, caregivers, and the admin team.
• They will have a high degree of integrity to work without supervision and conduct themselves in a manner that represents the best of what Comfort Keepers is.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task

Preferred training and experience:
• Hospice Experience
• 3+ years with one organization or client (any working knowledge qualifies)
• 3+ years working in a client care and business development role within the San Diego senior care market
