Combined is a privately held real estate company with leasing, development, construction, acquisition and property management activities on both coasts. Our Bethesda office is currently seeking a meticulously attentive real estate paralegal to fill a position in our very active legal department.
This legal professional will be responsible for:
- lease-related legal documents, notices, letters and abstracts, and other forms and documents related to leasing;
- preparing the basic information in the first draft of leases, lease amendments and ancillary documents on Landlord’s form;
- acting as departmental liaison to other departments in responding to inquiries.
The ideal candidate will have:
- five to seven years of experience working in a law or real estate firm;
- experience handling various aspects of real estate transactions, with a particular concentration in leasing and property management;
- strong analytical skills and be able to understand and interpret legal documents effectively;
- strong drafting skills and be able to prepare initial drafts of basic ancillary lease documents;
- most importantly, a high level of initiative and problem solving skills.
