ComForCare Annandale-Alexandria is looking for a Manager of Care Services. The ideal candidate is an RN who is looking for flexible hours and who would like to be part of a care team that will help clients age in place. The Manager of Care Services will work closely with the Owner and Administrator of ComForCare Annandale-Alexandria to assist with coordination, supervision, evaluation, and development of client care teams to ensure quality care delivery within ComForCare’ s scope of services. ComForCare Annandale-Alexandria is in the process of obtaining its Home Care Organization License for the state of Virginia.
 What you’ll be doing:

• Performing non-medical evaluations for clients and developing appropriate care plans.
• Working with the Agency’s Owner and Administrator to plan, coordinate, and monitor the delivery of all direct care services to Agency home care clients and ensuring safe, effective, and appropriate home care services.     
• Assisting in the screening and interviewing of new caregivers and making recommendations to the Owner/Administrator.
• Being part of a team that plans and implements in-service and continuing education programs to meet specific and ongoing training needs of caregivers.  
• Educating Agency staff on services, policies, and procedures as needed.
• Assuring client records are maintained in compliance with state and federal laws and accreditation standards, where applicable.
• Overseeing data collection for quality management, statistics and reports and initiating actions to improve quality of client care.
• Other related duties as assigned

What we’re looking for:

The ideal candidate will be a PRN. This position will provide flexible hours and is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to work up to 10-20 hours per week. There is room for growth in this position if desired.  

• Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing
• Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience in an acute hospital setting or equivalent experience with one (1) year of supervisory experience
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct care
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in the Home Care space is a bonus
