Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating campaign and marketing communications and coordinating events to support lead generation.  This role will work with other Marketing team members to support business development with the sourcing of new customers and expanding current customer relationships through the development of marketing programs and events, such as awareness, relationship building, reference building and demand generation marketing activities. 

The Marketing Specialist will collaborate with North American and International Marketing teams, Sales, Product and Industry teams and strategic partners, including Microsoft, to create and deploy highly successful region and national marketing programs and events.  This position is both creative and analytical in nature and will require a motivated and results driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a long-term career as a marketing professional.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development, execution and management of campaigns to facilitate lead generation, market awareness, customer retention and relationship building.  Responsibilities to include: list generation, creative messaging, automation, deployment and analysis
  • Assist with gathering and compiling campaign response data and overall marketing metrics
  • Leverage a continuous improvement approach to ensure optimum marketing program results and increase the impact of marketing on lead generation and overall business health
  • Propose new marketing program ideas and work with internal stakeholders to secure support to execute these programs
  • Assist as needed with the development of copy and creative elements for marketing collateral
  • Organize and assist other Marketing, Management and Sales team members with various in person and digital annual events and tradeshows
  • Work closely with management to understand event objectives, consult on deliverables and timelines
  • Ensure the event customer experience is positive and impacting
  • Leverage events communication, social media, digital marketing and demand generation for promotion and engagement
  • Manage materials printing and order supplies and collateral for events
  • Perform inventory management and shipping responsibilities for events
  • Maintain calendar for trade shows and events
  • Maintain centralized archive of presentations, marketing materials and communications that are accessible to various functional groups internally


  • Ability to work in local office
  • College degree in a related discipline strongly desired (Business Management, Marketing, Advertising, Communication or related)
  • 3-6 years hands on experience desired but not required
  • Strong marketing, event management, customer service and relationship building skills
  • Ability to effectively solve problems, think creatively, make decisions and take action
  • Occasional travel may be required for team meetings or other company events
  • Must be able to work in the United States
