Job Description

Colquitt Regional Medical Center is currently seeking an Informatics Pharmacist to join our team.  This is an entry level pharmacist position. Will work equally as a staff pharmacist, as well as clinical resource to maintain Pharmacy informatics and Oncology EMR. Position will help maintain efficient workflows in both departments, accurate billing, and clinically relevant content, Strong clinical skills that work to maintain technical components of systems. Will work part time as a staff pharmacist to understand position and issues that exist within the system to correct. Likewise, will understand the Oncology EMR system, and work with vendor to maintain clinical aspects of the system and make changes, as required (treatment plans, clinician documentation, medications, etc). Works closely with other Clinical Informatics nurses, and entire IT team, as a liaison to apply Pharmacy knowledge to decision making. Works very closely with management team to achieve goals and objectives, and to make improvements where needed.
