This position for an Outside Sales Representative is to increase sales in the Metro St. Louis territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling a large portfolio of products and services for Color Art. This Sales position will be responsible for targeting any business that has office furniture. We have a large database of clients and we are specifically looking for this position to target new, un-identified, and existing un-tapped clients. The Outside Sales Representative will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue. Generate sales reports each month and submit them to management .
Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers.
Prospect internal database of clients and new customers (cold calling and site visits)
Collaborate with the management team to improve sales, grow each market, and expand presence in Metro St. Louis.
Attend industry sales associations accumulate new leads and create new relationships
Update client information in the company contact database.
Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
4+ years outside sales experience
Strong computer skills and understanding of spreadsheet software
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
