Product Director, Travel Experiences

This role is responsible for delivering multichannel customer experience change and transformation of the Lounge product portfolio (Priority Pass, Lounge Key, etc.). You’ll work independently on Americas regional projects and support the Global Product team based in London. This role reports into the Executive Vice President of the Americas and will serve as the product expert supporting our business development and client service teams.

Position Overview and Responsibilities

Responsible for regionalizing, managing and delivering product while maintaining the competitive insight for our Travel Experiences products in the Americas, the key objectives for the Product Director are to:

  • Have a deep understanding of product management including how they are delivered in digital channels with a specific insight into how these products will develop across different markets within the Americas.

  • Be able to prioritize different business requests based on variety of factors e.g.: the user, commercials, user value, business value, etc.

  • Ability to analyze and recommend pricing and product strategies based on the specific markets and the competitive landscape.

  • Put the user at the heart of the development process, integrating data, insights, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.

  • Work with the commercial proposition team & marketing to create and deliver products & changes. Able to create improvements & enhancements for the existing customer journeys and deliver product strategy.

  • Track and monitor performance for the changes you deliver. You are accountable to make sure they succeed!

  • Able to define user stories to define, design & deliver the best customer experience. Ability to prioritize to deliver to time, budget and schedule.

  • Work closely with the Analytics, UAT and agencies to ensure developments are robust and proven.

  • Work closely with the Operations team to support the implementation of new developments into our live channels

  • Have an understanding of project delivery methodologies and principles such as agile & waterfall.

  • Keep up to date with trends / developments / new technologies. Able to suggest opportunities for Collinson.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • College Graduate with a marketing/business related degree required

  • Ideally have 8+ year’s product management experience. Experience with digital product management, though not essential, will be useful.

  • Experience of developing and managing consumer oriented products

  • Track record of success in product transformation

  • Spanish language skills a plus

  • Experience in travel, financial services product management is essential.

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills

  • Has the ability to map a customer experience or journey, including experience using research & analysis to design the best customer experience, using data to make informed decisions.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously within a dynamic and changing business

  • Experience selling/marketing to the financial services or travel industry is preferred although relevant experience in working in organizations focusing on loyalty will be considered

  • Advanced presentation development and delivery skills

  • Ability to demonstrate positive and tangible results

  • Excellent computer skills including a good knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Ability to work strategically and happy to be hands on with excellent attention to detail

  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic and analytic skills, and results driven

  • Experience of working internationally across multiple teams, offices or regions

  • Appreciation of working in a matrix organization, facilitating collaboration across companies, functions, geographies
