Senior Software Engineer (Azure, .NET 7, C#)

Permanent Fulltime job in BEAVERTON, OR

ENGINEERING - SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - ONSTIE

The position will be responsible for developing our SaaS platform with direct involvement in design, functionality, security, performance, scalability, manageability - all with the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies. We are looking for professionals who have experience in the design and development of applications using .NET 6/7, C# and Azure.

- Architect, design, build, test and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

- Solve complex technical problems, customer requirements and provide efficient solutions

- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues

- Anticipate and communicate risks areas proactively throughout the lifecycle

- Handle complex production issues and should be able to fix them with a quick turnaround time.

Skills & Experience Required:

- 8+ years of hands-on involvement in design, data structures, algorithms, development and unit testing

- 5+ years hands-on experience with .NET, Azure APIM, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, CI/CD

- 5+ years agile processes & ceremonies, ALM tools like Azure DevOps

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming-

- Skill for writing reusable libraries

- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like GIT

- Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable applications like SkyPoint Studio.

- Good to have AZ-204 certification, or the ability to obtain it within 6 months.

Educational Level:

BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science & Engineering from a Top Tier school (IITs / RECs etc.)
