IT Drupal Product Manager (Remote in Portland, OR)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Background: We have a high-profile website upgrade and redesign that requires a product technical manager with exceptional expertise. The original launch date has been postponed and now we need someone of Expert caliber to consult with us to guide the development team with a strategic approach in order to meet the new launch date.

Scope of Work: 

- Product management support and product development
- Able to understand and translate the vision of the customer to the development team
- Able to understand and deep-dive into the technical issues, assess problem statements and communicate with the development team.
- Provide Drupal-specific technical expertise and coaching and to development team
- Assess and provide consultation on technical architecture, best practices and approach
- Understands the nuances of web development and design within a government agency
- Liaise between development team and Director of Digital Strategies
- Consult on information architecture, content management strategies, display-layer best practices, human-centered design approaches.
- Project management in agile development, review developer work, provide feedback and guidance
- Review - Configuration of content model
- Review - Custom code (drupal modules and twig templates)

- Exceptional skills in evaluation, project scoping, and project management
- Expert knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile development
- Expert abilities in site-building including deep familiarity with Drupal contributed modules
- Advanced knowledge of version control with git development, feature branching workflow, remote code repositories
- Working knowledge in developing and utilizing APIs to communicate between Drupal and other internal/external systems.
- Advanced knowledge of developing and writing custom Drupal modules using PHP 7x, 8x
