Realization / Production Designer (Adaptation / Implementation / Extension) Designer

We're looking for a dynamic Realization Designer to join our collaborative & enthusiastic team. Our Realization Team Designers are synonymous with Adaptation / Implementation / Extension Designers.

The  Realization Designer blends a production artist’s “eye for detail” with the passion of a seasoned creative. A key role will be to take a conceptual/strategic solution and bring it to life through various methods (Print, digital, and beyond). They will need to work collaboratively with the realization team and other COHO team members (Designers, Client Experience Leaders, Project Managers & Operations Administrators), utilizing their organizational and professional skills as they maintain the design integrity of multiple projects and brands.

Core Responsibilities.

❏ Be well organized and able to handle multiple design projects & priorities, keeping yourself on track & on schedule to meet multiple client deadlines

❏ Maintain and enhance design intent while implementing and extending a design system

❏ Visualize design touch points utilizing various applications and technologies

❏ Understand, follow and help create brand standards

❏ Knowledge of (or ability to quickly learn) NLEA, EPA, FDA, TTB, and other important labeling requirements and terminology and the ability to create files that adhere to these standards

❏ Knowledge of print production requirements and processes for packaging, POS, and collateral

❏ Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies (including print & visualization)

❏ 3D rendering knowledge and skills with various software platforms ❏ Strong photo retouching abilities

❏ Video production/editing, and digital/web production is a plus

❏ VERY strong proficiency in Adobe CC (AI, PS, ID), Apple OS, ESKO

❏ Experience working with project management or workflow software a plus

Strong communication skills (verbal & written):

❏ Communicate effectively, including active listening, to clearly understand Realization Director’s requests and the ability to work collaboratively (Sometimes delegate) to other Realization designers

❏ Meticulous attention to detail. Whether in written communication, developing and proofing package copy (copy templates & proofreading product artwork)

Desired experience:

❏ BA/BS or Associates Degree or equivalent experience

❏ Minimum 3-8 years of experience in branding & package design, graphic production, or media production 

❏ Relevant experience in CPG Package Design is a huge plus!
