SharePoint Solution Architect (100% REMOTE) (part time)

We are looking for a SharePoint Solution Architect to join our team. This is a long-term position which is 100% remote. Initially, for the first 6 months, this will be part time, roughly between 10 to 20hrs per week. You will be working with another 1-2 architects on our team, plus 2 sr. developers, and our QA/test team.

We are looking for an excellent communicator, who is also an expert using SharePoint technologies.

The interview will consist of technical questions, so please do not be offended by them!

The role will include:

• Building a new SharePoint product based on NET CORE C#, using MVVM pattern.
• Learn our existing SharePoint product, which will be replaced with the.NET CORE version above.
• Working as 2nd level support for escalations from our technical sales and 1st level technical support team.
• As needed to work with customers to assist with more difficult issues with product issues in certain environments.
• Work scheduled hours with team to build product

Required Skills/Attributes

• 10+ years in SharePoint Development AND Server Administration. This should include either (or both) on-premises & Office 365/SharePoint Online Tenant and SharePoint Farm Administration experience
• Experience with Network Administration, such as strong understanding of how DNS, NAT, DHCP, TCP/IP works
• 12+ years C# experience
• Very strong understanding of development methodologies and best practices.
• 3+ years C# MVVM experience
• Very strong knowledge of Office 365/Azure and SharePoint technologies.
• MUST be fluent in oral and written English
• Excellent communication skills
• Work well with team members
• Resolve technical issues, participate in identifying problems, perform root cause analysis, contribute to knowledge base articles
