Coeur's headquarters are located in Chicago, IL. The Exploration Manager will manage multiple early- to late-stage Coeur-owned, or partner-company owned exploration projects. Relocation to Reno, Nevada is required for this position. Responsibilities: * Design and oversight of exploration data collection and management systems to ensure compliance with company policies and appropriate regulations. * Manage exploration teams with up to 10 people and potential for multiple active drill rigs. * Coordination of reports, budgets and cost analyses to senior management - bi-weekly and monthly reporting requirements may be needed depending on exploration activity level * Monitor resource and reserve development, performing on-going drilling programs to hit growth targets set each budget year. * Conduct technical evaluation of property submittals. * Develop and maintain professional, industry and governmental contacts regarding current developments and their impact on areas of interest. * Review and evaluate competitor exploration activities. * Keep current on new exploration techniques and geological concepts in order to provide technical back-up and support. Qualifications: * 15+ years' experience in international mineral exploration positions. Experience in or near several operational environments would be a desirable additional skill. * Bachelor (BSc) degree in Geology necessary, recommend Masters (MSc) in Geology * Preference for candidates who can be considered a QP after National Instrument 43-101 * Experience in precious metals-type exploration/mining targets is preferred. * Well-developed management, cross-cultural and collaboration skills; people and principles. * Ability to work in multiple-task environment and properly assign priorities. * Ability to get along and be productive with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, flexible. * Good reasoning abilities; well organized. * Good communications skills, both written and oral. * Ability to establish credibility and be decisive, but able to recognize and support organization's priorities and preferences. * Demonstrated applicable computer skills. * Experience with GIS software, 3D modeling, geological, geochemical and geophysical data integration. * Available for domestic and international travel. * Ability to understand and accept responsibility for confidentiality and adherence to Coeur Policy and Procedures.
