IT Architect Consultant - 23090-1

Must have:

1. Windows and Linux Operation Systems – command-line mastery
2. Technical skills
3. Working knowledge of networking, routing, load balancing, VPN’s
4. Communication of various protocols:  FTP, SFTP, SSL, HTTPS
5. General working knowledge of DMBS suites (Oracle, SQL, DB2)
6. Experience with monitoring tools – CA UIM, Thousand Eyes, APM, SCAPM
7. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the enterprise

1. Hands-on one or many scripting languages: BASH, BAT, Cron, KORN, python, PowerShell
2. Logging and monitoring tools – Splunk, Greylog
3. Experience with IDE software (Visual Studio Code, Atom)
4. Experience with Git source control systems (Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab)
5. Experience with CI/CD orchestration systems (Jenkins, Harness, Octupus)
6. Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
   

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Documents and publishes appropriate architecture principles and standards, position papers, blueprints, best practices, patterns and frameworks
2. Defines, constructs, supports and provides training for enterprise frameworks
3. Defines and maintains a library of functional component models within and across product lines
4. Documents functional product solutions for key product strategy and product management initiatives leveraging defined functional component model libraries and the defined product line architecture roadmap
5. Documents functional product solutions for key financial services sales opportunities leveraging defined functional component model libraries and the defined product line architecture roadmap
6. Maintains a catalogue of reusable functional application components consumable across applications and product lines
7. Reviews functional and technical designs to identify areas of risk and/or missing requirements
8. Documents and communicates opportunities to leverage inter-project synergies, application and enterprise software or infrastructure asset re-use, and opportunities to expose application assets for enterprise consumption
9. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the enterprise
10. Communicates system architecture to technical and business audiences
11. Performs other related duties as required
    
    

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Post-graduate education is desired.
