VP Marketing - B2B Technology

We are looking for an experienced VP Marketing to manage Marketing and Communications strategy and execution for our client. Our client provides an industrial grade platform that enables industries such as mining, industrial facilities, as well as Homeland Security, to collect, access aerial data in a faster, safer, more efficient manner.

This role requires relocation to Phoenix AZ, relocation assistance is available.

The ideal candidate has a solid Marketing background and work experience managing a variety of marketing projects end-to-end. To be successful in this role, you should be highly professional. You will play a significant role in shaping the company’s strategic planning while ensuring the Marketing department’s activities contribute to the company’s long-term success. You will represent the company on various occasions, including with media, through speaking engagements globally, analyst engagements, investor and customer meetings.

Job Requirements:
Over 10 years of experience successfully building and executing an integrated B2B marketing and communication strategy within a technology start-up or a growing enterprise
University degree in Marketing, Communications or similar field, a technical/engineering background is an advantage
Experience in building global brands
Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
Strong experience and proven track record of innovating and executing new media marketing tactics in social, digital and marketing automation
Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
In-depth knowledge of market research, inbound strategies including SEO, content marketing and more

Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness, generate demand and ensure market positioning
Set current and long-term goals for internal teams
Design and manage the Marketing department’s budget
Lead the PR and AR strategy and execution
Build and nurture relationships with media, analysts, government and public figures, and other business stakeholders
Initiate and monitor all marketing campaign

Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
Prepare reports and presentations on marketing metrics on a regular basis
Lead market research and analysis to identify challenges, research topics of interest, monitor competition, as well as opportunities for growth (verticals, geographies etc.)
Organize effective marketing events
